I love how this looks, I wasn't to sure about the colours used for the leaves but once they are stitched they are just right. I also made a mistake too and have left it there as I was too lazy to frog. The word Wisdom is supposed to be the lighter pink colour. But I quite like it in the dark plum colour.

I loved stitching this block. It tooke me back to my youth when life was fancy free and we had not a care in the world. The pace of life was definitely slower and then there were the days at the beach working on a tan. I remember my first pair of jeans with flared bottoms, a matching denim jacket and a checked red shirt.............the height of fashion

I started these last year, I love the sentiments in these and they are too beautiful to only bring out at Christmas time and I am going to hang them in my craft room. They were really simple to make. I couldn't get the artist's canvas the same size that was used in the original and I had to be careful and cut the material slightly bigger.
