A Finish

Rooster

Designer: Permin of Copenhagen Kit
Fabric:  32ct Belfast Linen Silkweaver Everglade
Threads: DMC
Time: 45 hrs

I just love how this turned out.  I changed the fabric and it looks so pretty.  This kit also had so much thread left over which I found quite remarkable.

Here is my update on Leaf for November just for you Yvonne.  I just love how she looks and hopefully she will be finished next year.

Update on DH.  The surgeon found a lot of inflamation around the injury site on his wrist and used a tool to clean it up.  He told DH that he will probably got pain in it for the rest of his life.  We now have to wait and pray that God's will be done in this.   Also could you all pray for my DD who is teaching in the UK and she has got a very difficult class with 6 very disruptive boys.  I am praying every morning that God will go with her into her classroom and help her make a difference in their lives.

Hugs

Annette B

your finish is beautiful! Congrats! Wow, extra floss in a kit is amazing!!!!
I don't know the background on your DH, but so sorry to hear he will live with pain the rest of his life.
I will add your daughter to my prayer list. I know how hard her job is. Yes, praying SHE can make a difference in their lives is great! God is good!

Annette, congratulations on Rooster!! I must say this finish looks even much nicer than the picture itself. It must be the fabric.

I need to operate on my jaws very soon as they drop each time I see Leaf!! Thank you so much for posting this for me :0)) She is really beautiful and your stitching is really neat. I love the idea of yours, keeping a journal for your stitching - very organised!

Will keep your DH and DD in my thoughts. I hope with some theraphy, he can soon move his wrist without any pain.

I am also sure with your DD's patience (like mother, like daughter), bad boys will turn into good ones :0))

Sending you lots of hugs and good thoughts.

Your rooster finish looks awsome. My 6 year old son is a keen chicken farmer when we have our chikens at summer time. Hopefully my son acts nicely at school though I'm having troubles with him time to time.

I'm really sorry to hear about your DH. You and your family are in my thoughts.
