Weekly Progress Report

Birds in the Nest - I finished doing all the outlining of the bird boxes. I decided to pin the layers together instead of basting them. I swear that if I had drank any liquid I would have leaked it everywhere through all the pin pricks . There was also a lot of bleeding happening. All I have left to do now is ditch stitch around the runner and put the binding on.

Blue Bonnet got 3.2 hrs and I have broken the back of this piece. I am backstitching as I am going. I love how it is coming together. See pic in entry below.
Blue Pearls Mermaid QS - artwork by Elaine Cox and design by HAED. I just adore the colours in this piece and cannot wait until it moves up to become the focus QS in the Rotation.

Green DragonflyQS artwork CCKuik designed by HAED. I managed 4.5hrs - not a huge amount of time but her mouth is nearly complete and she is looking lovelier than ever.

Lastly is Ocean's Bounty artwork Linda Ravenscroft and designed by HAED. I am within spitting distance of finishing Page 15/20. That will leave only 4 1/2 pages to stitch.

She is just unbelievably beautiful and I cannot wait to finish her. I am so glad that Linda Ravenscroft is letting HAED do the charting again. There are 2 new pieces that are devine called Blue Mask And Pandora's Box

I also got some cross stitch & craft magazines - more that I should have......hehehe.

Austtrlian Country Craft & Decoration which also has a xstitch piece from DMC called Precious China.
Handmade which has a real girly feel to the issue lots of pastels and pinks
Homespun which has an adorable bunny called Miss Daisy Bunny.

Now to find the time to stitch like crazy.

You never told me you had a new blog! I followed the old one for ages until you stopped writing...so glad to see you posting again!

Lovely stitching - and can't wait to see Ocean's Bounty done. She is so beautiful.

And isn't stitching Ching-Chou's work fun? Lovely colours and neat things to watch appear :)
